It's one thing for this website to point out Tom's achievements, after all we're
a bit biased. It's another thing altogether when the Nevada press gives Tom Collins
praise.
Since his first term in Carson City, Tom consistently ranked high in the
annual legislative surveys. He takes pride in doing the job right, and if other
folks notice, that's reward enough for him.
As both Assemblyman and our County Commissioner, Tom is out front on the
important issues of the day.

Commissioner Tom Collins calls the process biased and flawed.
Collins said the way the county screened candidates was biased, flawed and a "poster child" for Kirkpatrick's anti-lobbyist cause. City staff had their preferences and county commissioners had theirs, muddying the process, he said.
