TOM COLLINS . . . DEEP ROOTS AND A PROVEN RECORD OF SERVICE
Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins has deep roots in Southern Nevada. This is where he went to school, married, raised two children, started a successful business and has served our community for most of his life.
Tom also has a stake in our future. As an avid horseman, rancher and outdoor enthusiast, Tom Collins values our heritage of outdoor life and takes seriously his responsibility of stewardship over our environment.
Tom understands our challenges. Like us, he has always worked hard to put food on the family table, save college funds for his children and grandchildren, and take care of the older generation as they age. Tom's leadership as Chair of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is helping Southern Nevada’s gaming and tourist industry, and our economy get back on track.
For over 25 years Tom Collins has shown a strong and proven record of service on the North Las Vegas Planning Commission, the Nevada State Assembly, as a Boy Scout Leader, as a coach, Civilian Military Council, Metro’s Fiscal Affairs, Southern Nevada Water Authority, Southern Nevada Health District, several Rodeo Associations and organizations, and as a member of the Floyd Lamb⁄Tule Springs Preservation Committee, a Southern Nevada conservancy partner. Tom lives his life “cowboy strong” and as our County Commissioner he has worked hard to deliver much needed services to the citizens in District “B”.
He is a handshake kind of guy who gets things done.
He knows and understands the traditions of Nevada.
It is the cowboy way with Tom Collins.
